One Saturday in January I went with a few friends to visit a small city near Turku, this city is called Rauma. We woke up early and took one of the first buses in the morning to have enough time to visit it but when we were there we realized that you don´t need much time to visit it because is quite small! First of all, we went to a building which it is one of the highest in Rauma and we enjoy the views from the top, but it was cold (typical here), so we took photos and return to the city. The centre is small although is cute, there are colourful houses (it´s also something typical in Finland I guess), and I really like that kind of houses. But I have to say that there are a church and a small river and nothing else to see, so I was a bit disappointed because of that, but at least I saw another city in Finland. We ate in a pizzeria some of the group went to the art museum, and the Spanish people of the group went to visit a mall because it was snowing, then we went for a walk, but, as I said, the city is very very small! At 5/6 p.m it was dark and we had to take the bus to return to Turku. It was nice but I don´t recommend to visit that city, I think that is better to spend the money of the bus in another better place.
I want to make a post about safety in this country because I feel that it´s a really safe place to live. I can talk about different examples that prove this theory. I have to say that Spain is a safe country, but nowadays the night is harder and harder for women when we have to go home, and that´s a pity. One of the first things that surprised me was that here there are a lot of coat racks at universities and other buildings, where people leave their coats for hours or the whole day and none take them, so everyone does it and it´s really useful, but I think that Spain some coats or scarfs will disappear. Another surprising thing is that in some monuments or touristic entries you buy the ticket but none take it, so none ask for it so you could go without paying anything (in Spain everyone will enter without pay), Finnish people really trust in others. Something that is amazing for me is the fact that cars stop when you are waiting, although you are not in the right place (crosswa...
